Subject: Amendment of the Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan
Enclosed is a Statement of Preparation of Amendment of the
Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan.
The City Council of the City of Campbell (the "City
Council") adopted the Redevelopment Plan for the Central Campbell
Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan") in June, 1983.
At this time, the City of Campbell Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency") is proposing for consideration by the City Council
certain technical amendments to the Redevelopment Plan.
Exhibit'A to the attached Statement of Preparation describes
the general purposes of the proposed amendment.
As outlined in the enclosed documents, the proposed
amendment to the Redevelopment Plan will not change the Project
Area boundary, any of the financial provisions of the
Redevelopment Plan (e.g. limits on allocation of tax increment
revenue to the Agency, limitation on amount of bonded
indebtedness,period for incurring indebtedness, or duration of
the Redevelopment Plan), or the proposed activities of the Agency
to promote redevelopment of the Project Area.
Thus, the proposed amendment is not of the type described in
Health and Safety Code Section 33354.6 which would requirel,
observance of _the, procedures set_ for-th_ _in. _the Community

A draft of the proposed Redevelopment Plan and the proposed
Negative Declaration for the amendment will be made available to
you upon request following their completion. The Agency will
provide you with written notice of the joint City Council/Agency
public hearing on the proposed amendment. The hearing is
currently expected to be conducted in December, 1990 or January,
1991.
