A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN AGGREGATE DONATION OF
$17,459.24 OF NON-CASH ITEMS FROM THE CAMPBELL POLICE FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Campbell Police Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-
profit organization led by a group of dedicated community members who have created a
partnership with the Campbell Police Department; and
WHEREAS, from essential equipment, to specialized training, and innovative
programs that would otherwise be unfunded, the support provided by the Foundation
directly improves public safety and supports the Police Department's mission; and
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Foundation has been providing this support to
the Campbell Police Department since its inception in 2012;'and
WHEREAS, During FY23, the Campbell Police Foundation donated non-cash
items to the Police Department with an aggregate value of$17,459.24.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the City accept an aggregate donation of non-cash items from the
Campbell Police Foundation valued at $17,459.24 for FY23.
