Dear Mr. Ree:
We have reviewed the site plan òf a proposed building for K and
H Finishing Company, adjacent to Upper Page Distribution System,
sent to us on July 15.
We understand that the proposed work would consist of the con-
struction of "new Development C" and the paving of the area
shaded on Sheet A-:,l of the plans. This work would not directly
affect any District facility.
The existing parking area adjacent to the overall site's
eàsterly and northerly propertv lines is adjacent to the Upper
Page Distribution Channel and Desilting Basin respectively,
which may be a potential hazard. We, therefore, recommend
that the parking area be fenced off from the channel and basin.
Chain link fence may be placed in accordance with the enclosed
Detail Sheet 17. Any other type is to be installed off District
right of way and maintained by others. Please show details of
any fencing on the improvement plans.
Provisions to protect any existing or future fencing from damage
from parking activities should be made. The placement of a
guardrail immediately adjacent to the Santa Clara Valley Water
District right of way or wheel bumpers located 3 feet (for
parallel parking) or 5 feet (for perpendicular parking) from
said right of way would be satisfactory.
In accordance with District Ordinance 75-6, the owner should
show any existing welles) on the plans and inform us regarding
their proposed use. Please contact Mr. Zozaya on extension 379
for information about well permits.

Site drainage is not allowed into the percolation or distri-
bution systems. We recommend, therefore, that such drainage
be diverted into an existing storm drainage system.
Prior to the start of any construction adjacent to our right
of way, please send detailed site grading and improvement
plans for our review and issuance of a permit.

Applicant to submit a letter satisfactory to the City Attorney to be re-
corded as a deed restriction, limiting the use of the property to those
shown on the floor plans.
Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and as addèu in
"red" on plans.

Appl icant to sign agreement satisfactory to the City Attorney that the
property will be used for warehouse purposes only.

All mechanical equipment located on roofs shall be screened as approved
by the Planning Director.
