Dear Mr. Elliott:
Quadrex Corporation requests your permission to install a utility
line (telephone) from our building to connect to an adjacent
building at 1610 Dell Avenue. The line will pass underground
through a city easement which separates the two properties.
Rusty Hammer of our staff and Bill Helms of your department
discussed this matter in the field and Mr. Helms indicated that
he foresaw no problem with this. It will be a temporary instal-
lation, to run with our three-year approval granted by the Planning
Commission.
Your granting of this request would be greatly appreciated.

The telephone line crosses the city easement at the approximate
location indicated by the "green" line. This is 400 feet east of
the property boundary at Dell Avenue and Division Street.

Section 21.42.090 of the Campbell Municipal Code reads as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one year after the
date upon which such approval was granted, unless an extension for such
approval Is obtained by making written application for same to the
Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the expiration
date of such approval.
No bui Iding permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this Chapter.

The applicant is notified as part of this appl ication that he/she is required
to meet the following conditions in accordance with Ordinances of the City of
Campbell and Laws of the State of California.

All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance
with Section 21.50 of the Campbell Municipal Code. All
parking spaces to be provided with appropriate concrete curbs
or bumper guards.

20.16.070 of the Campbell Municipal Code.

Plans submitted to the Building Department for plan check shal I
indicate clearly the location of all connections for underground
utilities including water, sewer, electric, telephone and
television cables, etc.

of the sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to be installed

Department. (Section 21.68.030 of the Campbell Municipal Code.)

Ordinance No. 782 of the Campbell Municipal Code stipulates that
any contract for the collection and disposal of refuse, garbage,
wet garbage and rubbish produced within the limits of the city
of Campbell shall be made with Green Valley Disposal Company.
This requirement applies to all single-family dwell ings, multiple
apartment units, to all commercial, business, industrial,
manufacturing, and construction establishments.

development shall be located in area(s) approved by the Fire
Department. Unless otherwise noted, enclosure(s) shall consist
of a 'concrete floor surrounded ~y a solid wall or fence and

Re: Underground telephone line encroachment.
Dear Mr. Naymark:
This letter will serve as authorization by the City of Campbell
for your company to encroach upon the Ci ty' s ri ght-of-way near
the intersection of Dell Avenue and Division Street. It is our
understanding that you wish to connect an underground telephone
line from your existing building to a leased facility for a period
of three (3) years.
Your encroachment permit is subject to satisfactory restoration
of the surface of the City's right-of-way and your acceptance of
responsibility for the maintenance of the telephone line.
