Please contact Ed Finlay, City of Campbell Inspector, regarding completion
reQuirements of the Manhole Extension on Dell Avenue.
The problem involves filling the existing hole with approved concrete
because it is a safety hazard. In addition, the black top debris must
be removed from the curb area, property on the other side of the street.
N.S.C. had the task of removing considerable debris from the street
after your contractor left.
If the work is not completed to the City of C&~pbell reQuirements, it
is possible that they will perform the work and collect charges from
your company. Please contact me as soon as possible.

Nuclear Services
1. Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and as added
in "red" on plans.
2. Landscape plan indicating type of plant naterial, location of
hose bibs or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be submitted
for approval of the Planning Director at time of application for
building permit.
3. Landscaping shall be maintained in accordance with the approved
landscape plan.
4. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,000 to be posted
to insure landscaping, fencing and striping of parking area within
three (3) months of completion of construction, or applicant may
file written agreement to complete landscaping, fencing and strip-
ing of parking area prior to final building'department clearance.
5. All mechanical equipment located on roofs shall be screened as
apprcived by the Planning Director.
6. Approval of Use Permit 74-1.
7. Landscape plan to be reviewed by the Parks and Recreation
Commission prior to the issuance of a building: permit.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is
required to meet the following conditions in accordartce with
Ordinances of the City of Campbell.
A. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance
wi th Section 21. 50 of the Campbell Municipal Code. All parking
spaces to be provided with appropriate concrete curbs or bumper
guards.
B. Underground utilities to be provided as required by Section
20.16.070 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
C. Plans submitted to the building department for plan check shall
indicate clearly the location of all connections for underground
utilities including water, sewer, electric, telephone and tele-
vision cables, etc.
D. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with provisions
of the sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to be installed
until application is approved and permit issued by the building
department. .
E. Ordinance No. 782 of the Campbell i-Iunicipal Code stipulates
that any contract for the collection and disposal of refuse,
garbage, wet garbage and rubbish produced within the limits
of the City of Campbell shall be made with Green Valley Dis-
posal Company; This requirement applies to all single family
dwellings, multiple apartment units, to all commercial,
business, industrial, manufacturing and construction establish-
ments.
F. Trash container(s) of a size and quantity necessary to serve the
development shall be located in area(s) approved by the fire
department. Unless otherwise noted, enclosure(s) shall consist
of a concrete floor surrounded by a solid wall or fence and have
self-closing doors of a size specified by the fire department.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT
G. Roof covering shall be fire retardant.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
H. Storm drainage area fee based on $765 per acre.
I. Obtain excavation permit for modification of driveway approaches.
FIRE DEPARTMENT

As the City's main is installed wi thin a right-of-way that i.
part of the Flood Control District, you !advised me- that you
would require a review of the drawinqs before the lateral for
this site could be placed in the riqht-of-way.
I am enclosinq a copy of the Mobile Office Space and parkinq
81 te drawing, which shows the lateral and the point of connection
at Manhole Number 4. This manhole is shown on the City of
Campbell'S Publio Works Department drawinq, Storm Drain Con-
struction, Sheet 7 of 12. -

1. Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and as
added in "red" on plans.
2. Landscape plan indicating type of plant material, location of
hose bibs or sprinkler system and type of fencing to be sub-
mitted for approval of the Planning Director at time of appli-
cation for bUilding permit. All planter areas to be enclosed
within 4" to 6" raised curbs.
3. Landscaping'shallbe maintained in accordance with the approved
landscape plan.
4. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,000 to be
posted to insure removal of temporary office trailers, landscaping,
fencing and striping of parking area within three (3) months of
completion of construction.
5. Trash containerCs) of a size and quantity necessary to serve
the development shall be located in area(s) approved by the
Fire Department. Unless otherwise noted, enclosure(s) shall
consist of a concrete floor surrounded by a solid wall or fence
and have self-closing doors of a size specified by the Fire
Department.

required to meet the following conditions in accordance with
Ordinances of the City of Campbell.
A. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in compliance
with Section 21.50.010 of the ~mpbell ~unicipal Code. All
parking spaces to be provided with appropriate curbs or bumper

B. Underground utilities to be provided as required by Section
20.16.070 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
C. Plans submitted to the building department for plan check shall
indicate clearly the location of all connections for underground
utilities including water, sewer, electric, telephone and
television cables, etc.
D. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with provisions
of the sign ordinance for all signs. No sign to be installed
until application if approved and permit issued by the Building
Department.
The applicant is notified that he shall comply with all applicable
Codes or Ordinances of the City of Campbell which pertain to this
development and are not herein specified.

2. Nuclear Services Corporation is preparing the design plans for a two story addition
to existing facilities, the plot plan and elevations accompany this application. The
total floor area aggregates 13,200 square feet.
The first floor consists of engineering offices, library, conference room, interior
and exterior storage areas, and equipment room. The latter three will have
relatively low density OCcupancy.
It is planned to lease the upper floor; thus, specific use is not known and this could
be regarded as speculative in nature. Landscaping will be provided on Dell Street
and along the north side of the building. No plantings are provided on the west side
since a future addition is contemplated thereon. The balance of the lot is devoted
to parking.
