Dear Mr. Grabau:
Enclosed please find our receipt for your warrant No. 1609,
dated November 2, 1965, in the amount of $35.00, which amount
represents our plan checking and inspection fee for subject
development.
'!'he City of Campbell has reviewed your plans and has
found them aatisfactory,and we do not deem it necessary to
issue an encroachment p.rai~. We feel that the bonds which
you have posted with the County of santa Clara ce sufficient
to guarantee successful completion of the work to be done, and
we trust that you or your contractor will keep us informed of
the status of your develQp88nt.
It is our intent to waive the requir888Dt that you obtain
an encroaChment permit and not to be construed as a refusal to
grant you such permit. Should you prefer to obtain more
formal approval for said 'WOrk, we enclose our street Excavation
Permit forms. You may refer to the bonds which you have posted
with the County of Banta Clara to satisfy Item 6 (b). Item 6 (a)
has been complied with.

Attached please find a check made out to the City of Campbell for $35.00 to
cover the cost of the engineering plan check of fue street plans sent to you
on the southwest corner of Hacienda and Capri, Santa Clara County.
It is our understanding that your City will not issue an encroachment permit
on the aforementioned service station site. As a result of our conversation,
however, it is our understanding that you have approved the plans and that they
meet with the City of Campbell requirements in every way. We therefore
consider the receipt of this check by the City of Campbell as complete
acceptance of the se plans.
