Steed, Director of New Projects. He: Coco's - #83, Campbell, California. Gentlemen: In reply to your letter of April, 16, 1973, any changes in the fire service plans submitted to this company must be confirmed by the Campbell Fire Department. Mr. Sal Leonardi, Battalion Chief, Fire Prevention Bureau, City of Campbell, has indicated that you do need a fire service. It will be necessary for you to have Chief Leonardi direct a letter to us indicating his present requirements in this respect. "'. . In addition to the fire service, Chief Leonardi has requested a fire hydrant in front of your property. Any changes in this request must also be verified by the Chief in writing and must be your responsibility in obtaining. In reference to a new main on Hamilton and hydrants for the Don Koll Company development, this matter has not been firmed and the effect on your develpment has not been determined. One misconception we seem to sense in your letters concerns the domestic service to your property. To clearly define this matter, let us state the company policy as is filed with the Public Utilities Commission. There is no cost to you for either the service or meters and the service will be located at a point suitable to us and in a manner that does not present a possible pressure maintenance or hygienic problem.
