Head Martin 011 Service, Inc. 131 st Street and Kedzie Avenue P. O. Box 298 Blue Island, Illinois Dear Mr. Head: Regarding your inquiry about a storm drainage line contained in your letter to us of June 8, 1966, we wish to inform you that we had a very brief discussion with .l\/ir. Mitchell Roskin, representing Trend Prcperti('.s, about whether he could drain his property into Los Gatos Creek. lVlr. Raskin WqS told that he could if it was engineeringly feasible and the outfall was made according to Flood Control District standards. Vve also told l'v'lr. Raskin that the design and location of intract drainage facilities was not under our jurisdiction and we suggested that he contact the City of Campbell for their opinion as to how and where the site could be drained since the local drainage is under their jurisdiction. As we have stated to l"'"r 0 Raskin the only permits we would require of him would be an outfall permit if he intends to outlet drainage water to Los Gatos Creek. The installation of an intract storm drain line for joint use by your service station and the Trend Properties is entirely up to the interested parties. The City of Campbell would enter into its need and location if they wish 1.he drainage to conform to their Master Drainage Plan. The City would also decide if the line' was sized to accept additional storm water and whether or ,.Pt you could tie into it. If you have any further questions regarding intract drainage problems we suggest you contact the Department of Public Vv orks, City of Campbell.
