RESOLUTION NO. 10401
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL HONORING
WESLEY MANOR ON THE OCCASION OF ITS "25TH ANNIVERSARY AND COMMUNITY
SALUTE CELEBRATION"
WHEREAS, Wesley Manor residents of Campbell, California have organized a "25th Anniversary and
Community Celebration"; and
WHEREAS, the event will be held on October 8, 2004 at 2:30 pm at the Wesley Manor Dining Room,
1655 Winchester Boulevard, Campbell, California; and
WHEREAS, the celebration, which will include a champagne buffet and entertainment, will recognize
Campbell community service providers; and
WHEREAS, Wesley Manor is one of two senior housing facilities sponsored by the Santa Clara
Methodist Retirement Foundation, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the Foundation is a non-profit, SOI(c)3 tax-exempt charitable corporation in operation since
1965;
WHEREAS, the Foundation provides independent living accommodations and services to approximately
300 low-income senior and disabled persons living in its two facilities located in Santa Clara and
Campbell; and
WHEREAS, Wesley Manor and its residents have forged an active partnership over the years with the
City's Senior Adult Center at the Campbell Community Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council and staff of the City of Campbell
express their deepest appreciation to and congratulate Wesley Manor and its residents on their 25th
annIversary.
