BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM MUSUEUM PROGRAM
REVENUES TO FUND THE CAMPBELL HISTORICAL MUSEUM AND AINSLEY
HOUSE FOUNDATION AND THE CITY'S RAISE THE ROOF FUND FOR CAPITAL
PROJECT #00-12
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the operating budget for the 2004/05
fiscal year which included funding for the Museum's Ainsley House 10th Anniversary
Gala Celebration; and
and
WHEREAS, this event was not budgeted to generate revenue over expenses;
WHEREAS, this event was such a success that it generated $24,988.94 in
revenue over expenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council:
1) Authorize the transfer of $12,494.47 from the Museum's General Fund Program
Revenue account (101.528.4609) into the Museum Trust Fund's "Reserve for
the Roof" (794.775.4812); and that the City Council
2) Authorize staff to issue a check in the amount of $12,494.47 from the
Museum's General Fund Program Revenue account (101.528.4609) to the
Campbell Historical Museum Foundation for their share of the event's proceeds.
