RESOLUTION NO.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE PUBLIC ART DESIGNED BY ARTIST GLEN ROGERS FOR
THE REMODELED DOWNTOWN AINSLEY PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell wishes to incorporate public art as part of the
downtown Ainsley Park proj ect; and
WHEREAS, the City budgeted $20,000 for the design, materials, labor,
fabrication and installation of public art for the Park project; and
WHEREAS, the remodel of the park is on schedule and the City wishes to
fabricate the sculpture and coordinate with the contractor on installation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave approval for artist Glen Rogers on September
7, 2004, to design the art component;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby approves
the sculpture titled "Beacon" designed, fabricated and installed by Glen Rogers for said
public art.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 2004, by the following
roll call vote:
