A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ANNUAL
STREET SWEEPING CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SOLICIT BIDS
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2001, the City Council of the City of Campbell awarded the
Street Sweeping contract to Universal Sweeping Service, Inc., with a two year extension; and
WHEREAS, the contract has been extended twice, the maximum allowable extension, and
a formal bid process will have to be undertaken; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
the specifications for contract street sweeping services entitled SC 04-01, Annual Street Sweeping,
are hereby approved, and that the Public Works Director is authorized to give notice inviting sealed
proposals for said annual street sweeping contract in the manner and for the time prescribed by law.
