RESOLUTION NO. 10296
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL CONGRA TULA TING IMPORT CONNECTION
ON BEING SELECTED "2003 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR"
WHEREAS, Import Connection was selected by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce as
"2003 Business of the Year" and will be honored at the Chamber's annual "Celebrate
Campbell" banquet on March 27, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Import Connection is an automobile sales and repair business located in
downtown Campbell and is owned by Farhad Ghamgosar; and
WHEREAS, Farhad Ghamgosar is a current member of the Downtown Campbell Business
Association (DCBA) and actively supports the events sponsored by the DCBA including
serving as the Co-chair of the Association's first Irish Festival; and
WHEREAS, Import Connection supplied automobiles for the annual Bunnies and Bonnets
Parade in downtown Campbell, and supports Chamber of Commerce events such as Celebrate
Campbell, the Oktoberfest and annual Boogie on the Bayou; and
WHEREAS, Farhad Ghamgosar generously offers his time and resources to other community
organizations such as the Kiwanis Club and supports local community events such as the
Eggstravaganza and Carol of Lights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council congratulate Import
Connection owned by Farhad Ghamgosar on being selected "2003 Business of the Year" and
recognize the many contributions Import Connection has made to the Campbell community.
