RESOLUTION NO. 10310
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
SILICON V ALLEY ANIMAL CONTROL AUTHORITY
TO PURCHASE PROPERTY TO BE USED
AS AN ANIMAL SHELTER FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell, as well as the cities of Santa Clara and Monte Sereno have
elected to remain members of the Silicon Valley Animal Control Joint Powers Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority Board of Directors has approved the
purchase of a building to be used as an Animal Shelter, and
WHEREAS, the Authority has negotiated a contract to purchase property and a building at
3370 Thomas Road in the City of Santa Clara for such use, and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has a Capital Improvement Project in place to fund its
portion of the property purchase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves that the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority purchase property to be used an as
Animal Shelter facility and authorizes the Mayor to sign the attached agreement on behalf of the City.
