RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ADOPTING A REVISED EMERGENCY PLAN
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 809 of the City of Campbell adopted on November 8, 1971, did
establish an emergency organization; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance provides that the structures, duties, and functions of the emergency
organization shall be adopted by resolution of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves as follows:
1. That the emergency organization of the City of Campbell shall be as described in the revised
document entitled "City of Campbell Emergency Management Plan, Revised 2004," a copy of
which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and in incorporated herein as if the same were
particularly describe in this resolution.
2. That the emergency duties of the Director of Emergency Services and Section Chiefs shall be
described in said emergency plan. Such duties as described in said emergency plan may be
changed from time to time by written administrative orders, particularly for the purpose of
conforming to recommendations of the Director of the California Office of Emergency Services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 9376 of May 5, 1998, adopting an
emergency operation plan, is hereby rescinded.
