A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
A WARDING AN ANNUAL FUEL CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell on July 6, 2004, authorized staff to
solicit proposals for an Annual Fuel Contract; and
WHEREAS, bids have been called for and received for the Annual Fuel Contract; and
WHEREAS, Coast Oil Company, ILC, has been found to be the lowest responsible bidder
with a price of $0.0375 more per gallon than the average daily price charged by all providers of fuel
at San Jose terminals as set forth in the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) Pad 4/5 Report at the
time the fuel is delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby awards the Annual Fuel Contract to Coast Oil Company, ILC, for a one-year term
beginning September 1, 2004, with the option of extending the contract for four additional years
upon mutual agreement between the Public Works Director, or his designee, and Coast Oil
Company, ILc.
