A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE DOWNTOWN AINSLEY PARK
PUBLIC ART AGREEMENT WITH ARTIST GLEN ROGERS
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell wishes to incorporate public art as part of the
downtown Ainsley Park project; and
WHEREAS, the City budgeted $20,000 for the design, materials, labor,
fabrication and installation of public art for the downtown Ainsley Park project; and
WHEREAS, the remodel of the park is on schedule and the City wishes to have
the artist in place to coordinate with the contractor on installation; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted an open call for qualifications and artist Glen Rogers
is recommended by staff after interviewing finalists;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
authorizes the City Manager or his designee to execute an Agreement with Glen Rogers
for said public art.
