RESOLUTION NO.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL DESIGNATING ROBERT KASS AS
INTERIM CITY MANAGER AND AUTHORIZING A COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT
FOR INTERIM CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, there is a need for continuity in the management and administration
of Campbell City services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to ensure that services will
continue uninterrupted in the absence of the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, Title 2, Section 2.16.020 of the Campbell Municipal Code provides
that the City Council may, from time to time, by resolution, change the compensation of
employees of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the City of Campbell desires to adopt such
salary increases.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council designates Robert
Kass, Public Works Director, as Interim City Manager, to serve in the capacity of City
Manager.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes a 10% salary
increase for Robert Kass while serving as Interim City Manager.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other supplemental benefits and working
conditions shall remain as previously established and that the provisions of this
Resolution shall become effective the pay period which includes January 4,2005.
