A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING THE BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO INCREASE THE FUNDS IN
PROJECT 05-09: MISCELLANEOUS STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS
BY $10,000.00
WHEREAS, staff has identified the need to alleviate public storm water runoff from
flowing onto and potentially flooding the private property of La Valencia Properties, and
WHEREAS, staff has obtained a storm drain easement from La Valencia Apartments,
LTD., and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared plans for the construction and installation of a new
drainage inlet and a new 353-linear foot 18"-storm drain line which will connect to an existing
storm system on the La Valencia Properties, and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared the attached Budget Adjustment in the amount of $10,000
increasing the funds in Project 05-09: Miscellaneous Storm Drain Improvements to $50,000 to
finance this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the Budget Adjustment to increase the funding in Project 05-09: Miscellaneous Storm Drain
Improvements by $10,000 to construct said project is hereby approved.

Currently there is insufficient funds in Project 05-09: Misc. Storm Drain Improvement Project to fund the construction
and construction engineering for the installation of a drainage inlet, 353 linear feet of 18" RCP storm drain pipe, and its
connection to an existing manhole. An additional $10,000 is needed to this already approved FY 04/05 budget of $40,000 in
Project 05-09.
This project is necessary to construct as storm water run-off from the public right-of-way is currently flowing onto and
potentially flooding private property - the La Valencia Properties.
