BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL CONGRA TULA TING
CUSTOM VENDING SYSTEMS
ON BEING SELECTED "2004" BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Custom Vending Systems was selected by the Campbell Chamber of
Commerce as "2004 Business of the Year' and will be honored at the Chamber's annual
"Celebrate Campbell" banquet on February 26, 2005; and
WHEREAS, Custom Vending Systems has been a successful Campbell business since
its inception in 1980, and is currently the Bay Area's leading vending company; and
WHEREAS, Custom Vending Systems is owned and operated by Alan and Bonnie
Aerts who, through their private foundation, have been a source of support for many
charitable organizations; and
WHEREAS, through donations of at least 50% of all profits from Custom Vending
Systems, Alan and Bonnie Aerts support many local causes such as, but definitely not
limited to, the Campbell Toys for Tots Program, the Heritage Theatre, the American
Cancer Relay for Life 24 Hour Walk, and the Special Olympics.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council congratulate
"Custom Vending Systems", on being selected "2004 Business of the Year" and
recognize the many philanthropic contributions Custom V ending Systems has made to
the Campbell community.
