RESOLUTION NO. 10454
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
CAMPBELL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR
USE OF ATHLETIC FACILITIES
WHEREAS, Section 10900, et seq. of the Education Code authorizes the parties
hereto to enter into agreement for community recreation programs; and
WHEREAS, Section 10910, et seq. of the Education Code provides that the
governing body of any school district may use or grant the use of grounds of the school
district to any other public authority for the purposes of such ACT, whenever such use
does not interfere with school uses; and
WHEREAS, the City and School District desire to jointly use school district
grounds for play field purposes and community recreation; and
WHEREAS, this joint use will maximize the use of the play fields for the City
and the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council ofthe City of
Campbell hereby authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the joint use
of athletic fields with the Campbell Union School District.
