RESOLUTION NO.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING BARBARA L. JONES FOR TWENTY -ONE YEARS OF SERVICE TO
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL UPON HER RETIREMENT.
WHEREAS, Barbara L. Jones was hired by the City of Campbell on August 22, 1983;
and
WHEREAS, during her twenty-one years of service, Barbara Jones has had two three,
serving as Community Services Program Specialist for 2 years, Recreation program Coordinator
for 4 years and her current position as Recreation Supervisor for 15 years; and
WHEREAS, Barbara Jones was instrumental in establishing the City's first preschool
and day camp programs; and
WHEREAS, Barbara Jones created the Carol of Lights, Breakfast with Santa and the
Eggsuavaganza;and
WHEREAS, Barbara Jones has run the City's Summer Concert Series for the past 10
years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby expresses its appreciation to Barbara L. Jones for twenty-one years of loyal and
valuable service and best wishes for a fulfilling retirement.
