AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AMENDING CHAPTER 3.20.090 OF THE CAMPBEL MUNICIPAL CODE
AMENDING INFORMAL BID LIMITS
The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That Chapter 3, Section 3.20.090 of the Campbell Municipal Code is
hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto:
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days following its passage
and adoption and shall be published once within fifteen days upon passage and adoption
in the Campbell Express, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Campbell,
County of Santa Clara.

EXHIBIT A
3.20.090 Alternative bidding procedure for public project-incorporation of cost
accounting policies and procedures.
Notwithstanding any contrary provisions of this chapter, and except as otherwise
authorized or required by state or federal law, the bidding procedures of Section 3.20.050
may be dispensed with for public projects with a value equal to, or less than one hundred
thousand dollars the informal bid limits stipulated in PCC sections 22032(b) and (c)
and 22034(f) as amended from time to time, provided that the following procedures are
employed:
3.20.090(h) If all bids received are in excess of one hundred thousand dollars the
informal bid limits stipulated in PCC Section 22034(f) as amended from time to time,
the governing body of the public agency may, by passage of a resolution by a four-fifths
vote, award the contract, at one hundred ten thouGand dollar:;, or less, to the lowest
responsible bidder, if it determines the cost estimate of the public agency was reasonable.
