A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH AFFILIATED COMPUTER
SERVICES ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS, INC. (ACS) FOR INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY (IT) SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell approved ACS as provider
of IT services on June 4, 2002 for a six year term through June 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, ACS has provided satisfactory level of service to the City during the
term of its contract thus far; and
WHEREAS, ACS has a long-term commitment to the City to continue providing
IT services for as long as it is mutually beneficial to do so for both parties;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposed amendments to the
agreement be approved as submitted that will reduce the FY 06 service fee by
$151,650, reduce the FY 07 service fee by $125,262, and reduce the FY 08 service fee
by $93,481 from the existing agreement; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the contract with ACS be extended to June
30, 2009, with a charge for services in the amount of $681,770, in consideration of the
aforementioned concessions provided to the City; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager and Acting Finance
Director are authorized to execute the proposed amendments as attached.
