RESOLUTION NO.1 054 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING ALFONSO MORALES FOR THIRY
YEARS OF SERVICE UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Alfonso Morales was hired by the City of Campbell on August 1, 1975;
and
WHEREAS, during his thirty years of service Alfonso Morales has been promoted
from a CET A Utility Worker in 1975 to a Park Maintenance Worker I in 1976, and to a Park
Maintenance Worker II in 1984; and
WHEREAS, Alfonso's contribution to the Park's Section led to First and Second
Place Awards for outstanding maintenance; and
WHEREAS, Alfonso was commended on numerous occasions for his flower and
plant design at various City facilities; and
WHEREAS, Alfonso was commended for his pride and quality of work; and
WHEREAS, Alfonso worked with the General Assistance Work Furlough personnel,
volunteers and crew members at the Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Alfonso Morales has retired from thirty years of service with the City of
Campbell.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby expresses its appreciation to Alfonso G. Morales for thirty years of loyal
and valuable service and best wishes to continued success and achievement in his
retirement.
