TESTING AND INSPECTION DURING STREET REPAIR
Gentlemen:
Per your request, our firm performed testing and inspection during Street
Repair of Smith Avenue near San Tomas Aquino Road in Campbell, California.
The existing asphalt and rock was dug out and hauled away from the srea. The
subgrade in the area was prepared according to the plans and compacted. The results
of the field density tests indicated that the subgrade wasoompacted to 95.3 to 97.2%
relative compaction. The A.C. was placed and compacted with a roller. The results
of the tests showed that the A.C. was compacted to 97.2 to 98.4% relative compaction.
