When more than four condominiums are to be created, the State Subdivision Map Act requires that a tract map be filed rather than a parcel map. A parcel map would be appropriate if you were creating fewer than five con- dominiums or if you only wanted to combine the two existing lots into one. Since you intend to create 10 condominiums ultimately a tract map will be required. You may have some reason for combining the lots before creating the con- dominiums, but we want to be sure that you understand that we do not require you to first combine the two lots.
