BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL CONGRATULATING MAMA MIA'S RESTAURANT
ON BEING SELECTED "2005 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR"
WHEREAS, Mama Mia's Restaurant was selected by the Campbell Chamber of
Commerce as "2005 Business of the Year" and will be honored at the Chamber's
annual "Celebrate Campbell" banquet on March 26, 2006; and
WHEREAS, Mama Mia's Restaurant has been operating its Campbell location since
1997, and prides itself on providing superb service and authentic Italian cuisine to its
customers; and
WHEREAS, Mama Mia's Restaurant is one of four restaurants owned by Frank Leamy
who has been a strong supporter of Campbell events donating time, food and financial
support to many local activities; and
WHEREAS, Mama Mia's Restaurant dedicates a day of business proceeds to the
scholarship funds of a local woman's club; donates pasta for the Country Woman's
Club Crab and Pasta feed; supplies lunch for the Campbell Early Settler's celebration at
a reduced cost; and contributed to the Carol of Lights event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council congratulate
Mama Mia's Restaurant, owned by Frank Leamy, on being selected "2005 Business of
the Year" and recognize the many contributions Mama Mia's has made to the Campbell
community.
