CC Resolution 10612 RESOLUTION NO. 10612 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN CURRENT AND FUTURE AGREEMENTS FOR TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT SERVICES ON THE SAN TOMAS EXPRESSWAY WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires the California Highway Patrol to continue to provide traffic enforcement services on that portion of the San Tomas Expressway which is within the City of Campbell; and WHEREAS, the California Highway Patrol has agreed to provide such services through contractual agreement; and WHEREAS, the attached document entitled "FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL AND THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA, SANTA CLARA COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT, THE CITIES OF CAMPBELL, MILPITAS, SAN JOSE, SANTA CLARA AND SUNNYVALE FOR TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT SERVICES ON SANTA CLARA COUNTY EXPRESSWAYS" authorizes the California Highway Patrol to provide traffic enforcement services on San Tomas Expressway from July 15\ 2006 through June 30th, 2009; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute said agreement.
