Section 9316.1 of the Campbell Municipal Code reeds as follows:
Any approval granted under this section shall expire one hundred eighty
(180) days after the date upon which such approval was granted, unless an
extension for such approval is obtained by making written application for
same to the Planning Commission at least fifteen (15) days prior to the
expiration date of such approval.
No buildln9 permit shall be issued after the expiration date of any
approval until a new approval has been obtained in the manner provided
for in this chapter.

STATEMENT
The applicant hereby applies for "S" approval upon the subject
property which will permit it to erect a ~ millio~steel tank as shown
in the attached sketch.
This property was granted a Use Permit (#107) by City of Campbell
on February 2, 1956 for the operation of public utility services and
the possible future construction of public utility and service structur~~
and facilities thereon.
It can be stated that the requested use continues to be basic to
our present day living, is of vital importance to the citizens of
Campbell and it is ohly by permitting this installation that the
applicant can efficiently and adequately discharge its duty to
furnish water to the consuming public.
