OF DEDICATION AND GRANT FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES TO
CITY OF CAMPBELL
Pursuant to Sections 39540 through 39545 of the Education
Code of the State of California.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the CAMPBELL UNION
SCHOOL DISTRICT of Santa Clara County, State of California, on
the .31 day of ~ August , 19 78, in a regular and open
meeting, adopted a Resolution declaring its intention to
dedicate and grant to the Cit% of Campbell
for public street purposes certain real property more particu-
larly described as follows:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Remolution, notice
of the adoption of the same and of the time and place of the meetin~
for public hearing, and the question of said dedication has been
posted and published in a manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution and Notice, the matter
of the dedication of said property was regularly called for
hearing this date and no protests or objections to the same were
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED (1) that
the declarations and recitals herein contained are true and correct,
(2) that the said property be and it is hereby dedicated to the
City of Campbell for public street
purposes, upon the following terms and conditions, to wit:
1. Payment of all publication, escrow and title expenses
by the City of Campbell.
(3) that the clerk of this board be and he i~ hereby authorized
and directed to execute a Deed for and in behalf of this district
to the City of Campbell
conveying the said real property and to deliver the same to
the Cit% of Campbell upon the
performance of the foregoing terms or in the alternative, to
deposit the same in escrow subject to such performance.

BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly line of that certain parcel
of land conveyed to the Campbell Union School District of Santa Clara County by
that certain Deed filed in Book 1408 of Official Records at page 210 in said
office of said County Recorder, and the southerly line of Hacienda Avenue, 60 feet
wide, as said Hacienda Avenue is described by that certain Deed filed in Book 1479
of Official Records at page 495 in said office of said County Recorder;
THENCE, along said easterly line of said parcel of land the following
courses and distances:
South 56.69 feet;
South ll° 00' West 92.40 feet;
South 30° 25' West 60.06 feet;
South 2° 20' West 80.52 feet;
South 35° 40' East 50.82 feet;
South 6° 00' East 198.00 feet;
South 31° 15' West 39.96 feet;
South 1° 14' East 180.95 feet to a point on a curve concave
westerly and having a radius of 1,525.00 feet, said curve also being the easterly
line of aforementioned Abbott Avenue;
THENCE, along said easterly line of Abbott Avenue northerly along the arc
of said curve 176.55 feet through a central angle of 6° 38' 00" to its point of
tangency with a line;
THENCE, along lastmentioned line North 7° 52' West 246.90 feet to its point
of tangency with a curve that is concave easterly and has a radius of 475.00 feet;
THENCE, northerly along the arc of lastmentioned curve 183.08 feet through
a central angle of 22° 05' 00" to its point of tangency with a line;
THENCE, along lastmentioned line North 14° 13' East 132.82 feet to a point
on a curve concave northerly and having a radius of 480.00 feet, lastmentioned
curve also being said southerly line of Hacienda Avenue;
THENCE, leaving aforementioned easterly line of Abbott Avenue easterly along
the arc of lastmentioned curve 23.01 feet through a central angle of 2° 44' 47"
to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 0.435 acres, more or less, and being a portion of the the Rancho
Rinconada de Los Gatos.
GRANT DEED
We, ROBERT V. INWARDS and KATHIE J. INWARDS, his wife,
as joint tenants, hereby grant unto the CITY OF CAMPBELL,
a municipal corporation of the County of Santa Clara,
State of California, for public street purposes and to
become a portion of Abbott Avenue, all that certain real
property within said City and more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwest corner of Lot 9 as said Lot 9 is shown upon that
certain Map of Tract No. 89 recorded May 29, 1939, and filed in Book 3 of Maps at
page 59 in the office of the County Recorder, County of Santa Clara, State of
California;
THENCE, along the westerly line of said Lot 9 the following courses and
distances:
North 35° 35' 30" West 21.76 feet;
North 2° 24' 30" East 80.52 feet;
North 30° 29' 30" East 49.32 feet to its intersection with a line;
THENCE, along lastmentioned line South 0° 28' 28" East !38.66 feet to its
intersection with the southerly line of said Lot 9;
THENCE, along said southerly line South 83~ 13' 20" West 17.00 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 0.072 acres, more or less, and being a portiQn of said Tract No. 89.
