WHEREAS, Commissioner Robert Dougherty, has been a member of
the Planning Commission from September 1990, through November 1~92,
until his election to the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, during Commissioner Dougherty's membership on the
Planning Commission he reviewed amendments of the General Plan and
major development applications, such as development of the Wi,'~chester
Drive-in site, Redevelopment Project Area Expansion, Communit~ Design
Study, Home Depot, Campbell Gateway Square, and the 348 unit apartment
development at he former U-Save Rockery site; and,
WHEREAS, Commissioner Dougherty, has served faithfully and
impartially at regular and special meetings of the Planning Commission and
as an alternate on the Site and Architectural Review Committee; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recognizes the ex~cellent and
dedicated service that Robert Dougherty has rendered the Commission
during his term,, and, having never missed a meeting,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
of the City of Campbell expresses its sincerest appreciation for the numerous
hours of volunteer service by Commissioner Dougherty, and that we as a
Commission, are fortunate to have had the honor of serving the cornmunity
with him.

acclamation.
