PC Res 2802RESOLUTION NO. 2802 PLANNING COMMISSION BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ALLOWING MEDICAL CLINICS AND LABORATORIES IN THE C-1-S (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) ZONING DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO 21.59.70 OF THE CAMPBELL MUNICIPAL CODE. After due consideration of the recommended interpretation of Section No. 21.59.070 of the Campbell Municipal Code, and after all evidence was presented, the Planning Commission did determine that there was a significant need to interpret the Section 21.59.070 of the Campbell Municipal Code. The Planning Commis.sion does hereby adopt the following C-1-S text interpretations: A medical clinic use, not including urgent or emergency care medical clinics, accommodating a group of physicians or medical professionals, provided the use together with all other medical uses, does not exceed 50% of the gross building area within the development or center. Medical laboratories when incidental to and supportive of medical office uses within the center. Incidental or supportive is defined as not exceeding 50% of the total floor area devoted to medical uses within the development or center. Urgent or emergency care clinics may be objectionable to the general welfare and shall to require use permit review and approval within the C-1 zoning district. Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission further finds and concludes: Medical, offices and clinics are not more objectionable than other uses permitted in the Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District provided they do not become the predominate use within the center.
