A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL FINDING THAT THE SECOND AMENDED AND RESTATED
CENTRAL CAMPBELL REDEVELOPMENT PLAN IS IN CONFORMANCE
WITH THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ADOPT THE AMENDED
PLAN AND CERTIFY THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
PREPARED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1461, adopted June 21, 1983, the City
Council of the City of Campbell (the "City Council") adopted the
Redevelopment Plan for the Central Campbell Redevelopment Project and,
by Ordinance No. 1830, adopted January 15, 1991, the City Council adopted the
First Amended and Restated Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan
(collectively "the Redevelopment Plan"); and,
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency")
has proposed the amendment of the Redevelopment Plan in the form of the
Second Amended and Restated Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan (the
"Amended Plan"); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Campbell (the
"Planning Commission") has reviewed the Amended Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Environmental
Impact Report on the Amended Plan (the "EIR") prepared pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the EIR has been
completed in compliance with CEQA; and,
WHEREAS, the Final EIR was presented to the Planning Commission
and the Commission reviewed and considered the Final EIR prior to taking
action on the Amended Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the EIR reflects the
independent judgement of the City of Campbell; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on April
14, 1992, to receive public comment on the EIR; and,
WHEREAS, the Plann!ng Commission has reviewed the Report on the
Amended Plan; and,

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the above
information and has examined all pertinent maps, drawings and documents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission
hereby recommends the certification of the Environmental Impact Report
including the additional mitigation language as indicated in Exhibit A, and
adoption of the Amended Plan; and finds the Amended Plan to be in
conformance with the City's General Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission hereby
certifies and reports to the City Council and Agency, as required by Health and
Safety Code Section 33346 and Government Code Section 65401, that the
Amended Plan conforms to the City General Plan, and as applicable pursuant
to Government Code Section 65402, that any acquisition or disposition of any
real property, any street vacation or abandonment, and any construction of
public buildings or structures called for in the Amended Plan will be done in
conformance with the City's General Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 14th day of April 1992, by the following
vote:
