A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
THE AMENDMENT OF THE CENTRAL CAMPBELL REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AREA TO ADD TERRITORY TO THE EXISTING PROJECT
AREA AND SELECTING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TERRITORY TO
BE ADDED
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Campbell has
adopted the Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan by Ordinance No.
1461, dated June 21, 1983, as amended and restated in its
entirety in the First Amended and Restated Central Campbell
Redevelopment Plan, adopted by Ordinance No. 1830, dated January
15, 1991 (the "Current Plan");
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 8023, dated October 2, 1990, the
City Council designated a survey area (the "Amendment Area")
pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33310 to be considered
for addition to.the redevelopment project area established under
the Current Plan (the "Current Project Area");
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Campbell
(the "Planning Commission"), in cooperation with the City of
Campbell Redevelopment Agency, has analyzed the Amendment Area
and has determined that it would be appropriate to add the
Amendment Area to the Current Project Area for purposes of
redevelopment under the Current Plan, as appropriately amended
(the "Proposed Amended Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has caused to be prepared a
Preliminary Redevelopment Plan for the Amendment of the Central
Campbell Redevelopment Project Area (the "Preliminary Plan")
which provides information pursuant to Health and Safety Code
Section 33324 regarding addition of the Amendment Area and other
appropriate amendments of the Current Plan to be incorporated in
the Proposed Amended Plan;
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Plan, including the map of the
Amendment Area, is attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A and
incorporated herein by this reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Preliminary Plan is
hereby approved and adopted as the preliminary plan for addition
of the Amendment Area to the Current Project Area and for
consideration of the Proposed Amended Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Amendment Area is hereby
selected and designated, pursuant to Health and Safety Code
1030IN.PS0
Section 33322, for addition to the Current Project Area
for purposes of redevelopment under the Proposed Amended
Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary of the
Planning Commission is directed to transmit to the City
of Campbell Redevelopment Agency the approved and adopted
Preliminary Plan..
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Campbell, duly held on the 12th
day of February , 1991, by the following vote:
