PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING DESIGNATION OF
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 76 ALICE AVENUE AS AN HISTORIC
LANDMARK ZC 90-05/HPB 90-03)
After notification and Public Hearing as specified by law on the
application filed by Mr. and Mrs. George Maxwell for designation of
their residential property at 76 Alice Avenue, in an R-1-H
(Single-Family Residential/Historic Overly) Zoning District, as an
Historic Landmark in the City of Campbell, and after testimony by
proponents and opponents the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning
Commission did find as follows:
This residential structure is representative of the historic
character of the Alice Avenue Historic District.
The building is in good condition and has not been altered
significantly.
Designation of this structure as a landmark will emphasize the
importance of the Alice Avenue Historic District to the
