PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO A DRYWALL OPERATION TO ALLOW
OUTDOOR STORAGE RACKS AND STORAGE AREA, ON PROPERTY KNOWN AS
400 INDUSTRIAL STREET, IN A M-1-S (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) ZONING
DISTRICT, APPLICATION OF MR. LARRY HESTER - M 89-08
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of
Mr. Larry Hester, for a Modification to a drywall operation to allow outdoor
storage racks and storage area, on property known as 400 Industrial Street, in
an M-1-S (Light Industrial) Zoning District, as per the application filed in
the Planning Department on July 5, 1989; and, after presentation by the
Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission did find as
follows:
Site and Architectural Approval
1. Scale: The proposed project is an appropriate scale in relationship to the
similar developed uses.
2. Design: The project is reasonably designed and architecturally blends into
the site and into the neighborhood.
3. Compatibility: The project is designed to minimize infringement on
neighboring properties.
4. Compatibility: The proposal use is compatible with the uses in the area.
Based upon the above findings, the Planning Commission approved the requested
modification.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that he is required to
comply with all applicable Codes and Ordinances of the City of Campbell and the
State of California which pertain to this use and are not herein specified.
