PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM C-2-S (GENERAL COMMERCIAL)
TO PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 32,
AND 42 FOOTE AVENUE, 31 AND 39 PAGE STREET, AND
507 AND 515 EAST CAMPBELL AVENUE
AS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT (APPLICATION
OF AINSLEY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY; ZC 89-06).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the proposed
amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell, and after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the Planning Commission did
determine that the change as shown in the attached Exhibit A should be made to
the Zoning Map based on the following findings:
Planned Development Permit
Zoning: The proposed development or uses clearly will result in a more
desirable environment and use of land than would be possible under any
other zoning classification.
Compatibility: The use will be compatible with the General Plan of the
City of Campbell and will aid in the harmonious development of the
immediate area.
3. Future transit options: The applicant's plan accommodate future transit
options.
4. Traffic: The applicant will install street improvements and contribute
toward improvements to mitigate traffic impacts.
Zone Change
5. Zoning: The proposed zoning will be consistent with the Land Use Element
of the General Plan.
6. Compatibility: The proposed zoning will be compatible with the surrounding
zonings and land uses.
Health/Safety: The proposed zoning will not be detrimental to the health,
safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of persons residing or
working in the neighborhood, or be detrimental or injurious to property and
improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of the City.
Resolution No. 2611 - 2 - August 22, 1989
The Planning Commission of the City of Campbell recommends that the City
Council enact the Ordinance attached hereto making effective the recommended
changes to the Zoning Map.

ZONING MAP FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 32 AND 42
FOOTE AVENUE, 31 AND 39 PAGE STREET, AND
507 AND 515 EAST CAMPBELL AVENUE, AS SHOWN
ON THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT (APPLICATION OF AINSLEY
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, ZC 89-06).
The City Council of the City of Campbell does ordain as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell is hereby changed and
amended by adopting the attached Exhibit A entitled Map of Said Property as per
the application of Ainsley Development Company for approval of a Zone Change
for property known as 31 and 42 Foote Avenue, 31 and 39 Page Street, and 507
and 515 East Campbell Avenue from C-2-S (General Con~erciai) to PD (Planned
Development.
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall become effective thirty days following its
passage and adoption and shall be published once within fifteen days upon
passage and adoption in the San Jose Mercury News, a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Campbell, County of Santa Clara.
