Dear Mr. Bang:
The City of Campbell has made a fmal inspection of subject Public Works improvements and
finds the work to be acceptable and in conformance with City standards. Accordingly, the City
Engineer accepts the improvements.
The one year maintenance period stated in the permit begins as of the date of this acceptance
letter. The permittee is responsible for repair and/or replacement of any defective work or
failures that occur within one year. The City will inspect the improvements 'within one year
and notify you, in writing, whether or not any repairs are required.
Your Faithful Performance Surety (FPS) cash deposit of $350.00, plus any interest due, is now
being processed and will be sent to you under separate cover.

Tree Type and Refundable Deposit
Dear Mr. Quach:
Thank you for submitting an application for an Encroachment Permit
to plant a street tree in the park strip in front of your house at
765 Harriet Ave. The City has reviewed the trees in your area and
determined that you may plant either of two tree types. The
preferred tree type would be any of three Crape Myrtle varieties:
Lagerstroemia "Muskogee", "Natchez", or "Tuscarora". The second
acceptable tree type is an Ornamental Pear, puyrus calleryana,
"Chanticleer" .
A 3'x 3' tree well is the minimum size allowable for planting any
of the above trees. All work associated with the planting of the
new tree must be in conformance with the requirements of permit
#96-107. A $350 refundable deposit is required for each street
tree to be planted. The deposit will be fully refunded after final
acceptance of the work by the City.
The City may be able to remove the old stump for you; however, it
may take two to three months to schedule the work. There is a
chance that the City won't be able to remove your stump until next
year, due to budget constraints. You may remove the old stump
yourself to suit your schedule. Full planting details will be
included with the permit, which will be issued as soon as the $350
