FINAL INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE
Dear Sirs:
The City of Campbell has made a final inspection of subject Public Works improvements and fmds the
work to be acceptable and in conformance with City standards. Accordingly, the City Engineer accepts
the improvements.
The one year maintenance period stated in the permit begins as of the date of this acceptance letter.
The permittee is responsible for repair and/or replacement of any defective work or failures that occur
within one year. The City will inspect the improvements within one year and notify you, in writing,
whether or not any repairs are required.
100% of Dennis Russell's Faithful Performance Surety (FPS) cash deposit of $700.00, plus any interest
due, is now being processed and will be returned to him under separate cover.
At your request, the Faithful Performance Bond will be kept in force for the duration of the one year
maintenance period.

Re: Tree Planting
Dear Mr. Russell:
Thank you for your recent telephone inquiry regarding planting street trees. In conjunction with
the concrete work being performed on your property by Valley Concrete, we will include the
new trees with the R-1 Encroachment Permit. Fees will be calculated based upon the scope of
the work and the trees to be planted. Additionally, a refundable surety deposit will be required,
as well as a one year maintenance surety. .
Also enclosed are the City's approved Tree List and planting requirements, as well as bubbler
irrigation details. The City requires that you plant a tree from the approved list which is
consistent with the trees already planted on your street. We will review the trees in your area
within two weeks and provide suggestions as to acceptable varieties.
Inspection of both the concrete and tree work will be handled under Valley Concrete's pennit.
