PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A V~RIANCE
ALLOWING ONE LOT TO BE A WIDTH OF 57 FEET IN
CONJUNCTION WITH A 9-LOT SUBDIVISION ON PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 953, 971 & 983 S. SAN TObiAS AQUINO RD.
IN AN R-l-6 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING
DISTRICT. (APPLICATION OF AINSLEY DEVELOPMENT, V 89-01).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Ainsley Development, Inc. for a variance from the required
60 foot minimum lot width to allow one lot to be 57 feet wide in
conjunction with a 9-lot single family subdivision on property known as
953, 971, & 983 S. San Tomas Aquino Rd. in an R-l-6 (Single Family
Residential) Zoning District, as per the application filed in the Planning
Department on March 16, 1989; and, after presentation by the Planning
Director, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Commission did find
as follows:
1. Approval of the variance will not result in a parcel that is
inconsistent with the R-1 (Single Family Residential) Zoning District.
The granting of the variance will not be detrimental to the public
health, safety, or welfar, or materially injurious to properties or
improvements in the vicinity.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby recommend
approval of the requested variance.
