BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COF~tISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A USE PERMIT
ALLOWING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN OUTSIDE STORAGE
YARD IN A PORTION OF THE PARKING AREA ON PROPERTY
KNO%FN AS 805 MCGLINCEY LANE (APPLICATION OF
A. BARCLAY, SANJIL ROOFING, UP 88-10).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of
Mr. Alex Barlay, on behalf of Sanjil Roofing, for a Use Permit to allow the
establishment of an outside storage yard in a portion of the parking area on
property known as 805 McGlincey Lane in a C-M (Controlled Manufacturing) Zoning
District, as per the application filed in the Planning Department on September
15, 1988; and, after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and
opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did
find as follows:
That the use is not detrimental to persons residing in the neighborhood, or
injurious to property or improvements in the neighborhood in that the
storage use would be adequately screened by walls and landscaping to
prevent adverse impact on the neighborhood.
2. That the use is located in an industrial area of the City.
3. That given the location of the nearest residential units, there will be
very limited visual impact on residents.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby grant the
requested Use Permit, subject to the following conditions:
Landscaping plan indicating type and size of plant material, and upgrading
of landscaping, to be submitted to the Planning Department and approved by
the Planning Director within 30 days of Planning Commission approval.

be submitted to the Planning Department and approved by the Planning
Director within 30 days of Planning Commission approval.

of approval by Planning Commission.
