HACIENDA @ PEGGY, JANUARY 10, 1991
At approximately 4:30 p.m., I called S.J.W.C. emergency, 279-7811,
and informed them of damage reported by City communications. I asked
S.J.W.C. to respond with lighted barricades and signs to secure the
site. I also informed Frank Robles to respond to the site to be sure
that the area was properly barricaded and signage provided by
S.J.W.C. It is my understanding from Robles that Hank West and Vince
Huppe responded with cones and barricades and that S.J.W.C. responded
but without barricades or signs.
At 8:30 a.m., January 11, 1991, I spoke with S.J.W.C. dispatch,
Glennette, at 279-7825 and informed her of the situation. She
referred me to Bob Weitenstein, Maintenance Supervisor, at 279-7935.
I informed him of the situation. I told him that his people should
have responded with lighted barricades, cones and signs to secure the
area. I asked him to do so and to inform me when that was
accomplished so our equipment could be removed.
