PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA,
COMMENDING POLICE CHIEF DONALD R. BURR ON HIS 31 YEARS OF SERVICE WITH THE CITY OF CAMPBELL.
. . WHEREAS, .DONALD R. BURR has served the City of Campbell since October 1, 1956; and -
WHEREAS, DONALD .R. BURR was promoted to.Sergeant in 1960, '~" ...... '
. to Lieutenant in 1964, to Captain in 1968, to Acting Chief of ' :'"-" "'":'
Police in 1971, and to Chief of Police in 1972; and
WHEREAS, DONALD R. BURR has performed his duties with
WHEREAS, DONALD R. BURR has indicated his intent to
retire from service as of..December 31, 1987; . ., :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning
Commission of the .City. of Campbell hereby expresses its :>..>, ....::; ~:-'":
sincerest appreciation to Chief Burr for his service and
dedication to the City OfandCampbell and for his support of the
Planning Commission; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Pl'anning Commission does "
extend to Chief Burr and his family all the very best wishes now and in the fu'ture. ,~'
