PC Res 2474RESOLUTION NO. 2474 PLANNING COMMISSION BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL DENYING THE APPLICATION OF MR. EVERETT CROES FOR A USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A LARGE FAMILY DAY-CARE CENTER ON PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1550 HACK AVE. IN AN R-l-10 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. UP 87-15. After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the application of Mr. Everett Croes for a Use Permit and to allow a large family day care center (12 children or less) on property known as 1550 Hack Ave. in an R-l-10 (Single Family Residential - 10,000 sq.ft, minimum lot size) Zoning District, as per the application filed in the Planning Department on July 22, 1987; and, after presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission did find as follows: That the site is not adequate in size and shape in terms of parking and loading facilities; and That the use will be detrimental to the comfort of persons in the neighborhood as demonstrated by testimony at this public hearing. Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby DENY the requested Use Permit.
