PC Res 2474RESOLUTION NO. 2474
PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL DENYING THE APPLICATION
OF MR. EVERETT CROES FOR A USE PERMIT TO ALLOW
A LARGE FAMILY DAY-CARE CENTER ON PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 1550 HACK AVE. IN AN R-l-10 (SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) ZONING DISTRICT. UP 87-15.
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Mr. Everett Croes for a Use Permit and to allow a large
family day care center (12 children or less) on property known as 1550
Hack Ave. in an R-l-10 (Single Family Residential - 10,000 sq.ft, minimum
lot size) Zoning District, as per the application filed in the Planning
Department on July 22, 1987; and, after presentation by the Planning
Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
did find as follows:
That the site is not adequate in size and shape in terms of
parking and loading facilities; and
That the use will be detrimental to the comfort of persons in the
neighborhood as demonstrated by testimony at this public hearing.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission does hereby DENY the
requested Use Permit.
