PC Res 2463RESOLUTION NO. 2463
PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING DENIAL
WITHOUT PREJUDICE OF A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
PERMIT, PLANS, ELEVATIONS, DEVELOPMENT
SCHEDULE, AND CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
TO ALLOW THE EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING MOTEL
ON PROPERTY KNOWN AS 675 E. CAMPBELL AVE
IN A PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT/COMMERCIAL AND
PUBLIC, SEMI-PUBLIC) ZONING DISTRICT
(APPLICATION OF MR. FRED SAHADI, PD 85-12).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of Mr. Fred Sahadi for approval of a Planned Development
Permit, plans, elevations, and development schedule to allow the the
expansion of an existing motel accommodating 73 additional units,
breakfast room, conference rooms and related service facility on property
known as 675 E. Campbell Avenue in a PD (Planned Development/Commercial
and Public, Semi-Public) Zoning District; as per the application filed in
the Planning Department on November 14, 1985; and, after presentation by
the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
did find as follows:
1. A revised Draft E.I.R. and revised development plans have not been
received by the City.
Since a revised Draft E.I.R. and revised plans have not been submitted
for review and comment, the final E.I.R. for this application could
not be approved by the City prior to expiration of time for completion
of the E.I.R. - August 14, 1987.
Based on the above findings, the Planning Commission recommends that the
City Council DENY WITHOUT PREJUDICE the Planned Development Permit, plans,
elevations, development schedule and conditions of approval as presented.
