PLANNING COMMISSION
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING A USE PERMIT
ALLOWING AUTO TINTING, POLISHING, AND AUTO ALARM
AND TELEPHONE INSTALLATION IN AN EXISTING BUILDING
ON PROPERTY KNOWN AS 1610 DELL AVE. IN ACM
(CONTROLLED MANUFACTURING) ZONING DISTRICT.
(APPLICATION OF CALIFORNIA AUTO TINTING &
POLISHING, UP 87-03).
After notification and public hearing as specified by law on the
application of California Auto Tinting and Polishing, Inc. for a Use
Permit to allow auto tinting, polishing, and auto alarm and telephone
installation in an existing building on property known as 1610 Dell Ave.
in a CM (Controlled Manufacturing) Zoning District, as per the application
filed in the Planning Department on February 4, 1987; and, after
presentation by the Planning Director, proponents and opponents, the
hearing was closed.
After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission
did find as follows:
That the establishment, maintenance, and operation of the proposed use
will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort
or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the
neighborhood of such use, or detrimental or injurious to property and
improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City.
The proposed site is adequately served by streets of sufficient
capacity to carry the kind and quantity of traffic such use would
generate.
3. The proposed use is compatible with the uses in the area.
4. The use will be conducted entirely within an enclosed building.
Based on the above finding, the Planning Commission does hereby grant the
requested Use Permit, subject to the following conditions:
1. Business shall only be for auto tinting, polishing and the
installation of auto sound systems. No auto repair shall take place.
2. Ail cars to be worked on shall be parked within the building.

The applicant is notified as part of this application that he/she is
required to comply with all applicable Codes and/or Ordinances of the City
of Campbell and the State of California which pertain to this development
and are not herein specified.
