FROM:
The Agreement was entered into June 16, 1969. Improvement
plans approved May 13, 1970. Wrote letter to Bulaich
August 3, 1971, advising him of proposed improvements on
south side of Curtner Avenue and asking him to contact us
so that the construction of the improvements on his frontage
could be made concurrently. Did not receive any response.
April 20, 1973, received Notice of Cancellation of bond.
I contacted the bond company, and they informed me that
they, the bond company, initiated the cancellation because
they wanted out of the bond. They claim that they have
asked that Bulaich construct but have never talked to
Bulaich himself but rather to his insurance agent.
I would recommend that we contact Bulaich and require con-
struction and that the bond continue in force as per
Agreement or that he get a sUbstitute bond in addition to
construction. There is no reason for further delay. Since
the bond will cancel May 16, 1973, as per request, it is
imperative that we act as soon as possible.

Construction of Street Improvements
Dear Mr. Bulaich:
We wish to advise you that the property owners on the south
side of Curtner Avenue are having plans prepared for the
construction of the street improvements throughout their
respective frontaqes, and we anticipate the construction to
commence as soon as the plans are approved.
We also wish 'to advise you, in case you do not already know.
that the County of Santa Clara has made some modifications
to the Curtner Avenue crossinq at Kirk Ditch and that the
plans which Mr. Bini, your engineer, prepared for you will
undoubtedly need to be revised prior to the construction
of the street improvements.
This office is of the opinion that you may realize some
reduction in the cost of the improvements if you will
enqage the same contractor which the other property owners
enqaqe. We feel that this would be of mutual benefit to
all the property owners involved and are hopeful that this
can be mutually aqreed upon by all parties concerned.
In any event, would you please pursue the matter of the revi-
sion of the plans and advise this office of your construction
schedule.
Inasmuch as the other property owners will be construc'ting
the improvements tbrougbout their frontage. shortly and
that the County haa IIlOdified Kirk Ditch, we will be aakinv

1. Property to be fenced and landscaped as indicated and
as adder' ;.n "red" on plans.
2. Landscape plan indicating type of plant material, loca-
tion of hose bibs or sprinkler system and type of
fencing to be submitted for approval of the Planning
Director at time of application for building permit.
3. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $3,000 to
be posted to insure landscaping, fencing and striping
of parking area within three (3) months of completion
of construction, or applicant may file written agreement
to complete landscaping, fencing and striping of parking
area prior to final Building Department clearance.
4. Faithful performance bond in the amount of $4,000 to be
posted to insure the removal of the existing residence
on the property within three months of completion of
construction.

s. An enclosure consisting of a concrete floor surrounded
by a six foot high solid wall or fence shall be con-
structed to house trash container in an area approved
by the Planning Director and Fire Department. Said
enclosure to be 8' x 12' minimum with 6 foot self-
closing gates.
The applicant is notified as part of this application that
he is required to meet the following conditions in accordance
with Ordinances of the City of Campbell.
A. All parking and driveway areas to be developed in com-
pliance with Section 9319 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
B. Underground utilities to be provided as required by
Section 9110.6 of the Campbell Municipal Code.
C. Plans submitted to the Building Department for plan
check shall indicate clearly the location of all connections
for underground utilities including water, sewer, electric,
telephone and television cables, etc.
D. The entire area not used for parking and driveway use
shall be cleared of all debris and treated with a dust-
free surfacing.
E. The remaining portion of the existing metal building on
the northerly property line shall be converted so as to
comply with building code requirements for a one (1)
hour fire wall.

F. All areas used for outdoor storage shall be enclosed
within a sight-obscuring fence of solid board or cyclone
fencing with redwood slats as approved by the Planning
Director.

G. Applicant to construct one~half street improvements
for unimproved frontage of property.
H. Applicant ~o dedicate to 60 foot right-of-way on
Curtner Avenue frontage.
I. Applicant to pay storm drainage area fee in the amount
of $473.00.
J. Sign application to be submitted in accordance with
provisions of the sign ordinance for all signs. No
sign to be installed until-application is approved and
permit issued by the Building Department.
The applicant is notified that he shall comply with all
