to Local Improvement District No. 11 and pay $90.00

STAFF DISCUSSION:
Parcels land 2 of this subdivision pertain to the application of
W. H. Asquith for zone change to allow the construction of two
four-unit apartments. Each lot contains 8,000 square feet and staff
can see no problems which will be created by the division of the
property.

BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAlYIPBELL, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF
REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, said City of Campbell did heretofore on January 8,
1968, acquire that certain parcel of land described upon that
certain instrument recorded January 8, 1968, and filed in Book
7986 of Official Records at Page 473 in the office of the County
Recorder of said County of Santa Clarai and
vlliEREAS, said real property was acquired by said City for
the express purpose of providing right-of-way for a public streeti
and
~REAS, real property in excess of that which will be
necessary for said public street was acquired, the sale of which
or the exchange of which, for a valuable consideration, is in the
best interes't of the citizens of said City of Campbell and of the
public in generali and
WHEREAS, the 'sale of the said 'property under'a public bid
procedure would be imprac'tical and unnecessary because of its
limited use and adaptabilitYi
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the Ci'ty of Campbell ,that for a valuable consideration, . receipt
of vlhich is hereby acknowledged, 'the sale or exchange of said real
property, a description of which is hereto attached and by reference
made a part hereof, be mqde. The Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute an instrwnent of con-
veyance of said real property and to record said instrument in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara.

Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of that certain 2.033 acre
parcel of land shown upon Record of Survey of the Albert A. Ruch
property recorded in Book 37 of Maps, page 1, distant N. 89059'
W. 352.97 feet from the Southeast corner of said parcel of land, said
point of beginning also being the Southwest corner of the parcel of
land described in the Deed from Peter J. Ricci, et aI, to The City

beginning Northerly along a curve to the left, from a tangent bear-
