WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council by Standard Oil of California, a Delaware Corporation, an agreement for the development of there real property in accordance with prescribed conditions; and WHEREAS, by the terms of said agreement, and concurrently herewith they have submitted grant deeds of certain portions . of their property for street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of said City; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the grant deed submitted in connection therewith be and the same is hereby accepted. Gomez Gentlemen: As you have requested, we have examined the site plans for the proposed Standard Station to be constructed on the northwest corner of Winchester Boulevard and east Parr Avenue in Campbell. We propose to serve the station from a pole located on the east side of Parr, approximately fifty feet from the present center line of Winchester. In order to provide an underground service for the station, we will install a secondary riser on the pole and an underground street crossing to a splice box that we will install on the east side of Parr in the vicinity of the corner. Please refer to the enclosed plan. Certain costs of providing this underground service must be paid by the customer. As soon as the exact amount is determined, we will notify standard Oil. As Mr. R. J. Bell stated in his conversation with you, it is our normal procedure to contact Pacific Telephone Company when we propose to install risers on joint poles. However, in order to insure that the telephone company is aware of the plans for the development of that corner, we recommend that you contact them directly.
